the delay in naming the coach is absurd. it's clear that the US team needs to get organized again. it's performance in Germany was so uninspired (surprisingly so, given Arena's past record), that it needs much more work than one might have thought a year ago, before the WC. Is Klinsman the right guy? We won't know until he gets started, but his efforts with the GNT suggests he can get a lot out of a team with modest abilities.
